Tim Readman on YouTube
We’ve had quite a few enquiries about whether there are videos of Tim available. Well the good news is there’s a ton of stuff from the past to the present, which you can find on YouTube here.
There’s solo stuff, Fear of Drinking and Out of the Green band performances, material from Go Blue and lots more besides. Enjoy!
St. Patrick’s Day at The Rogue
Thanks to everyone who came to our St. Patrick’s Day gig at The Rogue Folk Club in Vancouver BC! We had a brilliant night. The singing along was exemplary! Opening act Fionn were a delight and are certainly one to watch. Thanks to Rogue Godfather Steve Edge and his wonderful crew. This may have been Tim and Gerard Kerr’s last show with the marvellous Shona Martin who is Scotland-bound. If so what a great way to wrap things up! Our next gig together might well be in Glasgow!
There’s wee snippet of New York Girls from the show on Facebook here.
A New Rockaroladoo Video
There’s a new video from the children’s CD Rockaroladoo for the song Ice Cream on YouTube, featuring some vintage commercials from yesteryear.
Lyricist Alan Millen has invited Facebook followers to mention their favourite flavour and promote their favourite ice cream joint.“If I had three wishes, they would all be dishes of ice cream… just like the song says. Here’s more larks from the CD Rockalodoo by The Tutti-Frutti Funhouse Band. Let’s hear it for your favourite flavours! Or give your favourite ice cream parlour a mention. I’ll start with mocha. My favourite ice cream place these days is a place called Titi in Caslano, Switzerland. (P.S. Watch out for a very young Ronnie Howard getting ready to tuck in at 0:42.) ”
Tim says his all time fave is the ‘99′ cornet with a Cadbury’s flake and ‘monkey’s blood’ on it – but you just can’t get that in Vancouver!
Hither and Yon
Recording will start very soon with Bill Buckingham at Palace studios in Vancouver BC on some new songs co-written with Alan Millen and several other co-writers on Hither and Yon. It’s a somewhat belated follow-up to the 2008 Eventually Brothers release All Over the Map.
